Perhaps the most arresting thing about Scrooge, the Christmas-themed bonus slot game, is its choice of theme. As the name of the game suggests, it is based (rather loosely) on 'A Christmas Carol' by Charles Dickens. It's probably not the only literary-inspired slot game out there, but it certainly is the most ingenious (the Dickens novel is a Christmas classic, after all).
As for the actual features, Scrooge has five reels and 50 paylines, with 26 winning combinations.
The symbols are inspired by the novel, but they don't add depth to the game. It does have two features: a free spins bonus game that offers 25 free spins and a 2x on all wins; and a Christmas Dinner bonus pick-a-prize game. The game allows auto play, but it doesn’t have a gamble game option.
